About Eastsound, WA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The historic village of Eastsound is located on Orcas Island in San Juan County, Washington.  Home to a population of approximately 4,900 permanent residents, the village comprises the better part of the Orcas Island downtown district and features a remarkable collection of shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and cafes for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike!

Eastsound is home to a wealth of opportunities for outdoor sports and recreation that include everything from hiking, biking, and camping at nearby Moran State Park to sea kayaking, whale watching, and fresh and saltwater fishing in the gorgeous clear-blue waters flowing throughout the San Juan’s!  At the center of this bustling, energetic community is the Village Green, a community park and festival grounds that hosts the popular Farmer’s Market, a weekly event held May through September, and numerous other festivals and special events that include the Orcas Island Cider and Mead Festival in May and Chamber Music Festival in August.

Eastsound’s rich history can be explored through the considerable efforts of the Orcas Island Historical Museum, featuring exhibits and collections that include more than 5,000 documents, photos, maps, and Native American artifacts, and six historic homesteads that include the circa-1870 Crow Valley School House and circa-1890 Boede Cabin.  The museum hosts the annual Orcas Historical Day Fair and Parade, held each July on the Eastsound Village Green.

Conveniently situated a half mile north of the Orcas Island Airport and easily accessible via the Washington State Ferries, private boat, or floatplane, Eastsound’s miles and miles of scenic shoreline and moderate year-round climate make it a great place to live or visit in the great Pacific Northwest!
